How do I know if a bite is infected?
Most insect bites cause mild symptoms such as redness, itching or swelling that go away in a few days. However, if the area becomes more painful, hot to the touch, increasingly red or doesn’t settle down, it could be infected. In some cases, the skin around the bite may begin to ooze or develop a crust.
Diagnosis & Treatment

If treatment is needed, we can provide appropriate medication such as antibiotic creams or tablets during your visit.
